A few days ago, during Milan Fashion week, one of my friends asked me to explain the point of runway fashion. It can be a pretty straightforward concept, but I promise there is much more to it underneath the surface.
Is there anybody that actually wears that in public?
To understand fashion, there are some things we need to get first.
There are two kinds of runway fashion, Haute Couture and the “regular” collections that have transitioned to what we now know as “Ready To Wear”, which means that you can buy the clothes right after the show ends.
I’m not the type of blogger to share whatever is happening on her personal life (except on Snapchat, lol), but this time I felt like I just had to. I’ve been MIA for like 2 weeks, and that means that I completely broke my New Years resolution, which was to post every single week. I even started a planner / journal, it was going great for the first few weeks, but then it all kind of went downhill. I just recently got a really cool and somehow challenging internship. Don’t get me wrong, so far it’s been amazing and I absolutely LOVE IT. However I have had a hard time adjusting and going from “full time blogger” to “full time intern”. I know that it is actually possible to have a job or study the hell out and still have time for the blogging universe (shoutout to Leta, Rachel (full time cat mom and a very dedicated student), Alyssa and all my blogger friends that are multitasking bosses).

It was just another day scrolling through my Pinterest feed, when I came across this stunning, Ready To Wear Spring 2017 Collection by Elie Saab. Yes, in fact this collection was debuted last October during Paris Fashion week, but there is something about it that has had me daydreaming ever since I first lay eyes on it. No joke, I even have a song that goes with it, and it’s “Seeing Stars” by Børns.
I don’t know about you but I just LOVE to watch “What’s in my bag” videos on Youtube, it’s seriously addicting. I don’t have a Youtube channel, but I figured why not do it on a blog post.
So, first things first, my bag is a super simple black bag that I got at Kate Spade. I love it because it’s not too big and it’s not small either, it’s the perfect size and somehow all my stuff fit in it. Of course I have to change bags when I need to carry my laptop and a little more stuff, but on a daily basis this bag is just perfect.
Loly in the Sky is a brand that might ring a bell. You have no idea how many times I have heard or seen people wearing this awesome brand, but I had never had the chance to stop by one of their actual stores. I had seen their products and visited their online store a million times, but since they only have stores in selected points of Mexico, I had never witnessed their perfect black and white glory.
