Believe it or not, we are halfway through january (what, already?). So, how are you doing with your new year’s resolutions? If one of your goals this year is to get more fit, this tips are for you. Not all of us have the money (or time) to sign up for a gym membership, and maybe you do but sometimes you only have a few minutes a day to get a workout and the gym is just too far away, maybe you just feel lazy… there are a million reasons why working out is just not happening for you, and whatever those reasons are, here are some tips to get your fit on, for free.

Drink More Water

So simple, yet so hard. Just ditch all those sodas and sugar filled beverages for plain old water. You’ll see the results in no-time. You will feel more energized. If you want to take this to the next level: carry a re-usable water bottle (be nice to the environment) everywhere you go. Cheers!


Whenever you can, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park you car farther than usual so you get to walk more, you can even ditch your car when you have to travel short distances. Next level: Make a hella-good playlist on your phone or your favorite music streaming app and go for a walk or run around your neighborhood, you can even take your dog.

Workout At Home

There are a lot of different ways for this one, my favorite one is… youtube videos. You can find any kind of workout imaginable, you just have to find a place in your house and press play. My personal favorite is Cassey Ho from Blogilates. She provides you a completely free monthly workout calendar, in which she tells you exactly which of her videos you have to do every single day. All you need is a mat or a carpet. Next level: Make some space in your daily agenda and dedicate an hour a day for workouts (and actually do them) for a month, you’ll feel amazing.

Use Your School / Apartment Gym

This is very self explanatory. Do your research and find out if your school or apartment building have a gym of its own, most of the times they do and the best part if that you can use it for free (it’ already charged in your tuition or rent).

Play Your Favorite Sport

Just call some friends, meet in a close-by park that has a basketball or football field, bring a ball and have fun! You will have a lot of fun and a great workout. The best of both worlds.

Believe In You

You might have access to all the gyms in the world, but if you don’t have motivation you will not accomplish anything. Wether you want to loose/gain weight, get fit or simply get more active, none of this tips will work if you don’t believe in you. When you’re working out and you feel like you’re dying (that would be me), just remind yourself how amazing you will feel when you complete the workout session, what will happen when you keep doing that for a week, then a month, then a year? You can do anything, just believe in you.

It’s december once again, which means we get to look back on all the great products that have made our lives a little bit more fun. Today I want to share my 2015 beauty favorites with you. Probably most of these products were released way behind like in 2014 (I really don’t know), but it’s definitely been the year that I’ve been using these non-stop.

I’m not going over every single product because it would transform this into a really big post, so I’m just going to mention some quick things. I got the Carolina Herrera fragrance as a gift from my boyfriend, so if you’re reading this, thanks a lot because you nailed it and I love it. Talking about the Urban Decay products mentioned earlier, the quality is so good, the primer potion has never failed me and the Naked 2 has been my favorite pretty much since it came out because the colors are so neutral and vibrant, so you can easily do an every day look or a party one. I’m sure everybody has heard of Soft & Gentle by MAC, it gives you a beautiful glow that is perfect for every single season of the year, if you haven’t tried it yet I highly recommend it. I obviously have an obsession with lip balms (who doesn’t?) and ever since I discovered EOS, it has been my go to but this summer I picked up the coconut milk one and OMG guys, it smells heavenly and it’s so soft on your lips, it’s my favorite. Continuing with the lip stuff, this summer I discovered the YSL Rouge Pour Couture Lipsticks and of course I picked a pink shade, it was my absolute favorite during the summer time, I think it was the only lipstick I wore, it’s just so pretty. Last but not least, my gorgeous and perfect MAC lipstick in Pink Fusion was given to my as a gift on my birthday by my lovely friend Dayris. Like its name says, the lipstick is literally a fusion between pink and red with a blue undertone. I had never owned a lipstick with those characteristics so I was very excited to try it out, it’s no surprise that I love it and plan to keep wearing it throughout the next year.




The winter time is amazing, specially for those who live in places that transform into a winter wonderland, everything is so magical, that’s why lots of people call it the best time of the year. But do you know who is not that much into it? Your hands. They hate it. As a girl with sensitive skin, I know what I’m talking about, trust me, and I’m sure you kinda know it too. With all the fuzz that comes with the season, family meetings, friends and parties… plus all the work at the office or school. It’s completely normal that you forget about your hands, but let’s be real, they kind of do all the work for you. You depend on them 24/7 even when you’re not working or doing something productive. That’s why you should take care of them, specially during the cold months. If you want to kiss goodbye dry aligator hands during this season, there’s some stuff you need to do.
